I lived in Park Slope for eight years and I never understood why a run-down Wildlife Control hearse is always parked on 15th Street between 8th Avenue and Prospect Park West. I mean, sure, there may be some wildlife in Prospect Park that needs containment, but gee whiz, this clunker looks like its gonna blow at any second.
The oddest thing about the Wildlife Control-mobile is that when you get up close, you can see that inside it’s littered with trash from food containers. I may have even spotted a half-eaten McDonalds burger there once. Maybe it belongs to a homeless person, but I have never seen anyone inside. Does anyone have insight into this strange contraption and its owner? Maybe the ladies over at Fucked in Park Slope would know.
